I am Elon Li, a sophomore at American Heritage School. My life revolves around a mix of intellectual curiosity, leadership, and service, values that guide everything I do. Whether I’m coding in the computer science lab, analyzing financial trends, or leading my robotics team, I thrive on challenges that push me to think critically and solve problems while making a positive impact. Drawn to technology and its power to drive change, I am passionate about computer science. From programming with a purpose to exploring artificial intelligence, I enjoy using logic and creativity to build meaningful solutions. Meanwhile, my interest in finance allows me to understand how systems shape the world from a macro perspective. At the intersection of computer science and finance, I see immense potential—using data-driven insights to create smarter financial systems that benefit individuals and communities alike. Beyond academics, I am actively involved in leadership and service. As the team management officer for my school’s robotics club, I prioritize collaboration, ensuring that each member’s strengths are recognized and further developed. I also tutor my peers in computer science, reinforcing the idea that knowledge should be shared. In practicing the value of service, I help at marathon events early in the morning and support my team in competitions. I firmly believe in giving back, as I have personally benefited from the guidance and support of others along the way. During my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, reading thought-provoking books, and spending time with friends. Whether I’m strategizing on the court or analyzing patterns in a novel, I appreciate activities that challenge me both mentally and physically. Driven by curiosity, integrity, and a desire to make an impact, I look forward to continuing my journey of learning, growth, and discovery.
